Bio: Yugi has lived at the Kame Game Shop with his grandfather and parents his whole life. When he was seven years old, Sugoroku allowed him to pick out a toy or puzzle he wanted to have, and Yugi chose a golden box adorned with hieroglyphs, which had many golden puzzle pieces inside it. For eight long years, Yugi labored to fit the pieces together, but always got stuck halfway through. Knowing that the puzzle would grant him a wish, as per the hieroglyphs on the box, he never gave up and worked on it every day. What will happen when he succeeds? Read the manga and see!

Personality: Yugi is shy, soft-spoken, and kind to a fault. His soft demeanor makes him an inviting target for bullies. Yet his altruism remains unshaken. Even as two bigger boys bully him, he thinks nothing of standing up for them to an even bigger bully, even when it results in him getting the shit kicked out of him.
Yugi is very talented at solving puzzles and playing games, only needing to see a puzzle once before he knows how to put it together. He learns games very quickly and is seldom beaten at them once he has learned them.
Yugi has a massive crush on his childhood friend, Anzu.
Thoughts: Even though I can be harsh and critical of Yugi, that's mostly because I think he's overpraised in the fandom. I actually do like Yugi. I just don' think he deserves to be thought of as being better than Yami/Atem.
